About Us

The Special Libraries Associaton Student Chapter of The University of Arizona School of Information Resources & Library Science is working to achieve four primary goals.

  1. To promote interest in special libraries among School of Information Resources & Library Science (SIRLS) students;
  2. To promote interaction and communication among all members of the SIRLS community, special libraries community, students, faculty and staff;
  3. To provide a forum for the presentation of ideas to benefit the SIRLS and the special libraries community;
  4. To represent the needs of the students to the faculty, the staff, and to the SIRLS community.

Meeting Information

Meetings take place every two weeks 5-6 PM on Fridays in the SIRLS Multipurpose Room. Please check our calendar to see when our next meeting is scheduled.
