Resume Consultations

LSO and Library Science Librarian Mary Feeney are sponsoring an afternoon of individual resume consultations for all current SIRLS students.  Consultations will be conducted on Friday October 13, 2006 between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m, in room A314 of the Main Library (University of Arizona).  By filling out the form below you will identify in what type of library you want to work (if you do not know this, just check the "undecided" box) and we will match you up with a librarian in that type of library.  You will meet individually for 30 minutes with a librarian who will critique and provide advice on your resume (don't forget to bring a copy of your resume!).

Consultation times will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis so be sure to register early! Registration ends October 3, 2006. We will notify you by email no later than October 6 of the time of your appointment.

Can't make it to the consultations in person due to a conflict in schedule? Sign up for a virtual consultation. Fill out the form with all the requested information, and make sure to mark the "Virtual Consultation" check box. Once you have submitted your request, make sure and email your resume to Mary Feeny (feeneym@u.library.arizona.edu) by October 8th. She will forward your resume on to the appropriate consultant, who will then get back to you with comments and suggestions by October 16th.
