LSO Faculty/Student Liaison Feedback
Please contact the faculty/student liaison via email with your comments/feedback. Responses are reported by the LSO Student/Faculty Liaison to the SIRLS director, which are then brought to the monthly faculty meetings. Although you can choose to remain anonymous, please consider leaving your name and email address so we can work together to address your concerns.
Since the faculty/student liaison also represents students at faculty meetings, consider the following suggestions to help the liaison be a better advocate for students:
-
Keep in mind that at 11 o’clock at night or after a bad day problems sometimes seem worse. Send in your feedback after you’ve had time to reflect on what you want to say. (But don’t forget to send in your feedback later!)
-
Help solve your problem! It may be difficult for faculty and staff to imagine your problem from a student perspective, so give them a hand, and offer at least one suggestion on how the issue could be addressed.
-
Send it all—the good, the bad, and the ugly. Remember, though, faculty and staff are always open to critique so send in a comment about all the good things you see happening at SIRLS, too.
