Presentation on Presentations

As most of you have already experienced, giving presentations in class, at work, and in a myriad of other situations is very common in our field.  LSO is sponsoring to two days in November where two excellent speakers, Cheryl Malone and Patti Overall, will provide students tips and suggestions on how to make the best presentation and how to prepare for the inevitable things that go wrong.

Cheryl Malone will speak to students at 12 p.m. on Thursday, 2 November, and Patti Overall will speak at 6 p.m. on Monday, 6 November, both in the SIRLS multipurpose room.  These two presentations are purposefully scheduled just before the LSO Student Symposium so those students presenting for that are highly encouraged to attend.  However, any SIRLS student is more than welcome to attend.  For distance students, we will capture their presentations to post online as well.
