A great professional development opportunity is headed our way!  The University of Arizona Libraries with the Association of Research Libraries will be holding Living the Future 6 at the Sheraton Hotel in Tucson April 5-8.

Please see the attached Word document and the following website for more details:
http://www.library.arizona.edu/conferences/ltf/2006/

And great news for all SIRLS students!  The conference planning committee has agreed to give us a substantial discount on our registration fees.  If we are willing to help out during the conference (staff tables, monitor event rooms, etc.), instead of paying the $160 early-bird student rate, we only have to pay $65!  LSO has been asked to collect the money from all interested students and
pay ACRL in one check.

If you would like to attend and take advantage of this great discount and opportunity to network, follow these steps:

1) Register.  If you have a Paypal account, go to the LSO site to pay the $65.00.  http://www.sir.arizona.edu/lso/paypal-test.htm. Under "payment for" type "Living the Future 6 Registration."  If you would rather pay in check or cash, please make a check out to "Library Student Organization" and mail it to:

School of Information Resources and Library Science
Attn: LSO Treasurer
1515 East First Street
Tucson, Arizona 85719

We must receive payment by March 12th at the latest!

2) Once we receive back the registration information, we will e-mail you with further information, including conference details and what we can do to help out the conference organizers.

The deadline to make your payment and get this discount is March 12th so don't delay!

Don't miss out on this great opportunity!  As always, let me know if you have any questions.
