Welcome from your new Assistant Director!

I have been a psychology librarian most of my career. I've also had the pleasure to work in many special libraries, consulting firms, and non-profit organizations as an information specialist. The bulk of my career has been spent in academic libraries; I directed the libraries at the Fielding Institute in Santa Barbara and Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, California. Most recently, I was in Sales & Marketing for the American Psychological Association in Washington, DC. My library degree has allowed me to do so many varied and interesting things! You've made a great choice entering the SIRLS program.

In addition to helping the SIRLS faculty with academic advising, it will be my pleasure to manage the Internship Program at SIRLS and to assist in the implementation of our new Electronic Portfolio Program.
